Today on my very productive day off i went to the gym, cleaned the apartment, did tons of laundry, alil shopping and watched dallas cowboys cheerleaders. Watching the cheerleaders seriously motivated me to get in shape (especially because i have a honeymoon coming up very soon!). I quote from the show - "you weight 120lbs, you should weight 112lbs. you need to lose weight". I love the show but again i'm sucker for anything reality.

Relaxing

Yesterday I had my first real massage and facial. It was a birthday gift from hubs. It was called the "complete escape" package which included: full body massage, hydrating facial and pressure point foot massage. It was so relaxing! If i had the money i would definitely get one every week!

After that Sarah,Dom and Preston came over and i learned how to make lasagna. She's teaching me to cook one dinner at a time.

Wedding Update!

I admit it, things got hectic with all the wedding planning. I slacked off with my blogging.. so in order to make up for it i'll show pieces of my wedding :)

Can't say enough good things about him. He was so easy to work with. Professional. Affordable. The cake was delicious and looked gorgeous. It was exactly what i pictured!

Public Market

Last weekend i woke up at 6am (yes, seriously, 6am!) and went to the Public Market with my mom. To be honest i'm glad we went that early because it gave me a chance to walk around casually and see what was there before the crowd came. Rochester, Ny was voted as having the best public market in the country so i thought i better see what all the hype was about. I was so glad i went because it really is great. There are tons of fresh fruits, veggies, breads, meat, etc. There's something so satisfying about knowing your getting your food fresh, from local farmers and for such a good price! I bought lemons, strawberries, a pepper plant, cheesecake and sunflowers for under $15.

Going again this weeked to get some Mums and pumpkins for my porch. Time to start decorating for fall!

Probably a boring post but if you have a public market near you i definitely recommend you check it out.

Sister Wives

Has anyone seen this new show "Sister Wives"? I caught most of the first episode tonight. It's SO weird..yet interesting. In short - it's about this man who has 3 (about the be 4) wives and they all live together with their 13 children. My first thought is..how do the children feel about this? How is this affecting them? I'm thinking this guy prey's on pathetic women or hes got crazy game.

Anyways, I'm a sucker for reality tv so i'll be watching :)

Random Thoughts

Random Thoughts:

• Flowers are freaking expensive. Like way more than i ever even imagined. I am going to have to seriously scale down the vision in my head...sad...but it's either that or go into more debt! P.S. If you know of any excellent florists in the Rochester area pleassssssssssssssse let me know!
  
• I went in for a trim and they cut way to much off my hair. It's upsetting.
• I'm really slacking on my cooking. I need to pick it up. SC deserves better than pizza every night (although i'm sure he doesn't mind).
• I miss the Jersey Shore already.
  
• I've had the urge to go snowboarding lately. I guess I'm sick of the gym. Snowboarding as a workout is much more fun.
• DMB summer tour schedule is out. Darien Center 6/2/10 with the Felice Brothers. I recently listened to some of their music and it's pretty good. I'd rather have Ben Harper or Amos Lee but meh whatcanyado.
• I think it's a good thing energy drinks like Redbull and Amp are expensive because if not i think my heart would explode.

Centerpieces

These are just some centerpieces i think are pretty. I think i want a little more color in mine, maybe some greens perhaps?
