Random Thoughts

Random Thoughts:

• Flowers are freaking expensive. Like way more than i ever even imagined. I am going to have to seriously scale down the vision in my head...sad...but it's either that or go into more debt! P.S. If you know of any excellent florists in the Rochester area pleassssssssssssssse let me know!
  
• I went in for a trim and they cut way to much off my hair. It's upsetting.
• I'm really slacking on my cooking. I need to pick it up. SC deserves better than pizza every night (although i'm sure he doesn't mind).
• I miss the Jersey Shore already.
  
• I've had the urge to go snowboarding lately. I guess I'm sick of the gym. Snowboarding as a workout is much more fun.
• DMB summer tour schedule is out. Darien Center 6/2/10 with the Felice Brothers. I recently listened to some of their music and it's pretty good. I'd rather have Ben Harper or Amos Lee but meh whatcanyado.
• I think it's a good thing energy drinks like Redbull and Amp are expensive because if not i think my heart would explode.

I can't show a picture of them because i can't find them online but they are classic, elegant and beautiful! Now i just have to find a print shop and they'll be set. I haven't been that decisive in a while.

1. Today I am feeling: Excited its Friday and full of energy! (the red bull i just had may have something to do with it)

My New Purse

I don't usually love Vera Bradley or anything even close to being this small but i love this. It fits my phone, cards, money and keys perfectly..and it looks cute!

Scratch That...Our New Favors!

If you haven't noticed yet i tend to change my mind often. This time with my wedding favors. I had my family over tonight for "taco tuesday" and told them about my idea of the favor with the wild flower seeds. They thought it was cute and we went on the talking about other favors we've seen at other weddings. My aunt said the best favor she saw was a cd made by the bride and groom. She said it was something she still uses today. I heard of this favor before but for some reason (probably because it involves some thinking and work) never thought to do it. The more we talked about it, the better it sounded...and so a mix cd is out new favor! I want to keep the songs a secret until we pass them out but i'm open to suggestions!

My mom got Sc the Michael Buble cd for Christmas and we can't stop listening to it. I definitely recommend it! We heard this song and loved it. I know we've changed our minds in the past but i def feel this one is going to stick.

This is a possible wedding favor. I think it's such a cool idea. It has 2 detachable flowers with wild flower seeds in them and on the reverse side of the card it gives instructions to plant them. It's available in a bunch of different colors. It's inexpensive and good for the environment.

Dyeable Shoes

Possible matching bridesmaid shoes?

And the winner is...

We finally picked out a bridesmaid dress!

This will be the dress my bridesmaids wear for the wedding (color and everything). It's funny because i went on Saturday with my mom, sister, soon to be sister-in-law and mother-in-law, having two dresses in mind to choose from. I really loved the first dress i had in mind but a lot of people warned me that it may not be very flattering on some girls and i had to keep in mind my friend is having her baby in June and the wedding is in July. There was also concern this dress may not be formal enough. The second dress i originally had in mind was SO cute but not everyone loved the poofy hemline and i couldn't figure out if i liked it or not. So this dress is a combo of of the 2 minus the negatives. Although i wish it was in the shiner material, the cotton works and the way it falls will flatter everyone. David's also sells different accessories for the dresses so i was thinking of getting a bow in a matching color since it as a crowd favorite from the other dress.

I'm not gonna lie though, i might go back and buy that first dress in white to wear to the rehearsal dinner or something! i can't get over it!
